Have you seen Captain Morgan Cannon Blast on your store shelves recently? I’ve been wondering what it was like and recently got a chance to try it out, and create this delicious cocktail for all of you.
The flavor of Cannon Blast is unique. It has a citrus flavor, but a spicy aftertaste. This main citrus flavor creates a great backdrop to build upon for this cocktail.
This post is in collaboration with Captain Morgan. All opinions are my own.
Captain Morgan Cannon Blast Cranberry Lime Cocktail
I love how unique this alcohol tastes and blends with some of my mixer staples. As you drink the cocktail, you taste the citrus flavors as it combines with the cranberry and lime. Afterward, the spice of the Cannon Blast mixes with the spice of ginger ale to give a bit of a kick for an aftertaste.
If you are looking for a fun drink, make sure to check out some Captain Morgan Cannon Blast and try out some various mixers, or even straight up as a shot!
- 1.5 ounces Captain Morgan Cannon Blast
- 2 ounces Cranberry Juice
- 2 ounces Ginger Ale
- Juice from ½ a lime
- Fill a glass with ice
- Mix together Captain Morgan Cannon Blast, juice, and ginger ale
- Stir, stir, stir
- Garnish with a lime wheel
I definitely enjoyed this cocktail and could see myself making it throughout the spring and summer.

I love fruity drinks so this is definitely one to try! On a totally unrelated note, I also love your agate coasters. :)
