Some items were provided for consideration in this post. All opinions are my own.
All dressed up, but nowhere to go.
Most days we don’t leave the house, so she simply chills in her pajamas all day (unless she gets messy), so days that I get her dressed I try to make sure that it is extra cute.
Over the past year, I’ve discovered that I reach for similar items when it comes to dressing Anneliese.
Shoes
I love how Pediped shoes are protective but still allow for a barefoot feeling. Anneliese doesn’t crawl, but she butt scoots all over the place. We noticed that her feet had gotten a couple blisters from her mobility method, so we try to put her shoes on now before she crawls around.
Pediped come in a TON of adorable styles, so it is easy to find a pair of shoes for every outfit while promoting healthy foot development.
Bamboo Clothing
I love the soft feel of bamboo pajamas. I’ve bought a few different brands of Bamboo pajamas – Kyte Baby, Magnetic Me, and Gigi & Max. My favorite have definitely been the Gigi & Max ones based on how well the wash and grow with the kids. Gigi & Max also has some adorable dresses and body suits that I’ve added to Anneliese’s closet.
Clothing Basics
Sometimes I just want a solid color bodysuit, tee, or pants to make the outfit. I love Primary for these basics. They come in a HUGE variety of colors and are nice and thick.
I love having solids and simple patters so that I can easily mix-and-match items in her wardrobe each day.
I also used Primary products for our Baby Yoda Halloween Costume.
Accessories
Immediately after finding out we were having a girl I started thinking about all the hair bows I would collect. Over the remaining months of my pregnancy, and since she’s been born I’ve built up quite the bow collection. Some of our favorites are from tiny knot co, and blushing peach co. I’ve also collected some fun materials to make my own, now to just find the time to do it.
She has started to pull the bows off of her head once I put them on, so it is hard to keep the complete outfit. I’m hoping as she gets a bit more hair she’ll start to leave the bows and headbands alone in her hair.
Based on Anneliese’s personality, I have a feeling that she will have opinions sooner rather than later on her daily outfits. Until that happens, I’m enjoying finding fun and adorable outfits for her.
