I was provided with samples of The Divining Rod Wines to facilitate this post. All opinions are my own.
Are you gearing up for a Halloween party this weekend? A couple friends and I are planning a last minute get together (at least activities for the adults once the kids pass out with a sugar coma) and I’m thinking that a Halloween Sangria might be in order.
This sangria is SO EASY to make and tastes absolutely delicious. It is a great spooky brew to serve for your upcoming Halloween party. The apples soak up the wine flavor and soften up a little bit as well so they are some yummy little tidbits to enjoy along with the sangria.
- 1 Bottle Divining Rod Divine Red
- 3 Cups Cranberry-Raspberry Juice
- 1 Large Apple, sliced in chunks
- In a large pitcher, combine the Divining Rod wine and Cranberry-Raspberry Juice
- Stir in the apple chunks
- Let sit in the fridge for minimum of 4 hours before enjoying
The Divining Rod wine is made by Marc Mondavi who is a water diviner. He locates underground water using copper divining rods and turns that into wine!
The Divine Red features aromas of blackberry, cedar and cinnamon which really blend well with the apple and cranberry juice in this sangria. This wine is a blend of Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Petit Verdot.
In addition to The Divine Red, I was provided with some Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay, I can’t wait to try out those two at our Halloween party this weekend!
During October, bottles of The Divining Rod offer coupons for $1 off a pumpkin and $1 off of ice.
I hope this sangria fits into your Halloween plans and that you can get a chance to enjoy this delicious wine!

I’m not a huge red wine fan, but I love the bottles. Sangria is my favorite way to drink red though!
