Do you live for Starbucks and a little bit of Pixie dust? If so, this tee is perfect for you to wear at Disneyland, Walt Disney World, or one of the other Disney parks. I originally made this tee when my mom and I visited Disneyland at the end of my funemployment. Since then, I’ve brought it on a couple other Disney trips and it is always a favorite.
Did you know that there is actually a Starbucks inside Disneyland? Within the Disneyland App, it is listed as the Market House, and is on the right hand side as you walk down Main Street into the park. The line may look intimidating when you get inside, but it actually moves really fast because the single line fans out to multiple cashiers.
When I made this tee a few years ago, it was one of the first ones where I attempted to do multiple colors. It really helps to have a heat press when doing multiple colors and larger designs because consistent pressure is important. After using a heat press, I can’t go back to making tees with just an iron – I even set it up outside last month when I was making some last minute shirts for our surprise Disneyland trip.
This design uses three colors of heat transfer vinyl – black, green glitter, and pink glitter. I like to keep heat transfer vinyl on hand because I never know when inspiration will strike and I want to make a new project that evening. Kapton Tape is also a lifesaver for keeping the vinyl aligned on the tee.
Whether you use a Silhouette Cameo or a Cricut, this project will work for you! Make sure you get the free SVG (or Studio) file at the bottom of the post.
For this trip, we would grab our Starbucks and breakfast through mobile order as we were leaving the hotel (and pick it up as we walked through Downtown Disney). I always make at least one visit to Starbucks in the parks when I need a little caffeine boost.
I can’t wait to pull this shirt out again for another Disney trip (at this point nothing is booked, but you never know when I need a bit of sunshine and magic).
