During the past couple weeks, Brad and I have been working on getting ourselves through the home visits for our adoption home study. My evening agenda was declutter, clean and repeat. I didn’t have a ton of time to prepare so I needed cleaning products that would be easy to use and ones that got the job done. We also had multiple visits, so being able to maintain this clean easily was important as well. Check out how I used a few different Clorox products to achieve my cleaning goal!
One of my favorite products was the Clorox Pump ‘N Clean, I put it on the side of the kitchen sink so it is easy to simply pump liquid onto a rag or paper towel, wipe up the mess and go. Having the cleaner out in the open helped because it served as a reminder to wipe down the counter throughout the day.
Plus the green fits right in with my kitchen (it’s the little things).
The Triple Action Dust Wipes were the perfect solution for all of the wood surfaces in our home. Each of these surfaces like to collect dust and the wipes trapped the dirt as I ran it along the shelf. I also liked that they were safe to use on electronics so that I could use one wipe for the entire room.
For the bathroom, I used some Clorox Scrub Singles. The individual pads make life simple because they combine the cleaner with the sponge and abrasive surface. This helped pick up any soap scum residue on the shower and give the bathroom a final shine.
Fortunately, all these products were available from Target. I’m there often anyways so it was easy to just run into the cleaning aisle to pick up some Clorox products. Plus with Cartwheel offers, you can save even more. From June 7-July 4, receive 10% selected Clorox products at Target using the Cartwheel app.
Not only did these products help me get ready for the home visit, they will also help me keep it clean. The products are great for everyday use and convenient enough that cleaning doesn’t feel so much like a chore. Make sure to check out other everyday cleaning moments here.
