Banana Pudding Pie Recipe

This banana pudding pie will not disappoint! It is so delicious and creamy.
  • 1.5 cup Nilla Wafer Crumbs
  • 6 Tablespoons softened butter
  • ⅓ cup sugar
  • 1.5 cup sugar
  • ½ cup flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 4 cups whole milk
  • 5 egg yokes, beaten
  • 1 Tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 4 Tablespoons butter
  • 5 bananas, sliced
  1. In a food processor, blend Nilla wafers until you have 1.5 cups of wafer crumbs
  2. Add butter & sugar, blend until combined
  3. In a greased pie plate, press the crust mixture evenly along the edges and bottom to create the crust
  4. Chill in the fridge for 1 hour
  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the flour, sugar, salt, and milk
  2. Stir until well blended
  3. Bring to a boil and stir for 2 more minutes then remove from heat
  4. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs
  5. Add ½ cup of the milk mixture into the beaten eggs, stir until well blended
  6. Add the eggs into the milk mixture and place back on medium heat
  7. Cook for 3 minutes
  8. Add butter and vanilla, beat until blended
  9. Remove from heat & cool for 10 minutes
  1. Cover the bottom and sides of the pie crust with banana slices
  2. Mix the rest of the banana slices into the pudding mixture
  3. Scoop into the crust and cool for 4 hours or until solidified
