Easy Dairy Free Green Bean Casserole

This Green Bean Casserole may be without Dairy; however, it definitely is NOT without flavor! Super easy to make and absolutely delicious.
Dairy-Free Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • 1 8oz container mushrooms, chopped
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 6 Tablespoons margarine
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup Hemp milk
  • ¼ cup flour
Green Bean Casserole
  • 3 cups Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • 3 pounds fresh green beans, cut into 2" sections
  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce
  • 1 package French Friend Onions
Dairy Free Cream of Mushroom Soup
  1. Heat a medium pot over medium heat
  2. Add in margarine, saute the mushrooms, onion, and garlic until the mushrooms and onion are tender
  3. Whisk in the flour then mix in the broth and hemp milk
  4. Bring to a boil, whisking until it has thickened
Green Bean Casserole
  1. Mix together the soup, green beans, soy sauce, and half the fried onions
  2. Pour the mixture into a 9x9 dish
  3. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes, or until the mixture is bubbling
  4. Stir to combine everything
  5. Top with remaining onions
  6. Bake 5 more minutes, or until the onions have turned golden brown
