I was provided with an Emma Pet Robot Vacuum from trifo to facilitate this post. All opinions are my own.
I remember the first time we installed new hard floors in our home. We had been living with 4 furry animals and carpet for a couple years and decided that white carpet and our lifestyle didn’t mix so we opted for a laminate flooring. Within days, we noticed the pet hair floating across the floor. The amount of hair didn’t increase, but instead of settling into the carpet fibers, it floated across the hard surface until it found a chair leg on which to cling.
We quickly realized that we needed to greatly increase the frequency of vacuuming to keep up with all the pet hair that was floating around the floor and air of our living room.
Since then, our lives have gotten even busier. We still have four furry animals, and now there is a toddler who thinks it is fun to drop snacks down to the animals from his highchair. Now that Emmett is mobile he is getting into absolutely everything, and any dirt he finds on the floor immediately goes into his mouth.
This past year (and especially the past 6 months) we have also been spending more time in the backyard so the dogs and us are tracking in more dirt when we go in and out throughout the day.
Any time that I can add automation to our home to simplify our lives, I am all for it. Adding a robot vacuum to our home is one thing that definitely makes our lives easier because it is one less thing to fit into the day.
When I was offered the chance to try out the trifo Emma Pet robot vacuum, I was excited to see how it would pick up all of the pet hair off the floor.
It took about 10 minutes to unbox, download the app, and get Emma set up on our WiFi. I turned on “quiet mode” in the app so she doesn’t make announcements such as the fact that she’s charging. While Pip and Princess ignore her for the most part while cleaning, they don’t like being startled by her voice announcements.
Emma has now become a part of our family, and she is great at keeping the floors free of pet hair and Cheerio crumbs. One of my favorite features is that it goes in a predictable pattern rather than simply bouncing back and forth randomly across the room. We know that the entire room is cleaned when she heads back home to charge.
The Emma Pet vacuum robot offers adjustable suction power, so if the floor is extra dirty, simply pump up the suction for that spot or for the full run. With a full battery, she can run for 110 minutes, which is plenty of time to do multiple rooms.
While she can be setup to clean on a schedule in the app, I have her do on-demand cleaning based on what we have going on each day. I simply open the app and hit the “clean” button and she starts right up. In addition to the app, Emma can even be controlled via Alexa.
If you are looking to add your own robot vacuum to your family and have fury pets in your home, make sure to check out the trifo Emma Pet robot vacuum! With a price point under $300 it is a great value to simplify your life and remove one thing off your to-do list.
Our house has a pretty unique layout, so I’ve thought about adding another vacuum robot to our downstairs family room/guest room. Percy will often jump the gate to hang out in there, but since we don’t use it often, it sometimes gets a bit neglected from the cleaning schedule. I could simply schedule Emma in the app to vacuum every couple days, and then I just have to remember to empty the bin when it gets full!
Where would you especially love to use a robot vacuum?
