Summer is perfect for enjoying the long evenings outdoors with friends and sitting around the campfire eating s’mores and catching up on life. The classic s’more of graham crackers, marshmallows, and chocolate are delicious; however, sometimes it is fun to be a little adventuresome with other toppings.
Gourmet S’more Recipes
I’ve come up with a few gourmet s’more recipes for those evenings when you want to elevate your campfire to a new level.
Chocolate Raspberry S’more
- 1 Graham Cracker
- 1 Extra Large Marshmallow
- 1 Piece of Raspberry flavored chocolate
- 3 Raspberries
- Toast a marshmallow over a campfire until golden brown
- Place marshmallow on ½ of graham cracker
- Top with Chocolate, raspberries & other ½ of graham cracker
Chocolate Caramel S’more
- 1 Graham Cracker
- 1 Extra Large Marshmallow
- 1 Piece Caramel flavored chocolate
- Caramel Drizzle
- Toast a marshmallow until golden brown
- Pace marshmallow on ½ of graham cracker
- Top with chocolate, caramel drizzle, and other ½ of graham cracker
Orange Marmalade S’more
- 1 Graham Cracker
- 1 Extra Large Marshmallow
- 1 teaspoon orange marmalade jam
- Mint for Garnish
- Toast a marshmallow until golden brown
- Pace marshmallow on ½ of graham cracker
- Top with orange marmalade jam, mint, and other ½ of graham cracker
Making s’mores are super easy thanks to HomeRight ElectroLight Fire Starter. In just a couple minutes, you can start a roaring fire inside the backyard firepit. The ElectroLight blasts out air at 1300 degrees to set the fire, and the blower helps it grow.
The ElectroLight includes a safety button to make sure that the 1300 degree air only comes out when it is intentional. The outside definitely gets hot so make sure that there is a place you can set it while it cools once the fire has been set.
Spending less time building the fire means more time making s’mores and enjoying the campfire with friends. With these delicious s’more recipes, and the ease of starting the fire, you are going to want to spend a lot of time around the campfire this summer.
Our ElectroLight fire starter is going to get a lot of use this summer. In addition to making s’mores, we love roasting brats and tonka-cookers over the fire.
The Orange Marmalade s’more might be my new summer favorite. I look forward to enjoying more of them, and coming up with other flavor combinations throughout the summer.
What sort of things would you cook over the campfire this summer and how would you use the ElectroLight in your life?
