Last week, I showed off an Angry Birds Easter basket that I made for Mason. This week I’m making a more traditional basket with a chevron bunny for Aubree.
Personalized Chevron Easter Basket
I started with a chevron bunny SVG file that I found for free online (of course, now that I go to write this post I can’t find it so I’ll keep looking and link up when I find it again).
Aubree’s name is in Honey Script (one of my favorites). I added an offset so that I could put the name right over the bunny and use the same color vinyl. Picking the right font is a perfect way to show off each kid’s personality in the basket.
This is the first time that I have used a shape that had a patter embedded in it and I really like how it looks. I’m going to learn how to do this so that I can make some other fun designs!
The basket is from the Dollar Spot at Target. They had these baskets in quite a few different colors – mine had white, green, coral and a couple others I think.
This basket is big enough that it could hold some of the standard Easter basket fillers – a book, stuffed animal, candy, etc.
Have you started thinking about Easter? What types of items do you put in the baskets?
