I have been on crafting overload these past couple weeks since I started walking. Crafting was a lot more difficult while I was on my knee scooter so once I was walking 100% in my boot, I went into overdrive and haven’t stopped making things since.
Today I’m going to share some super cute and functional coffee cup cozies that I made. The pattern and tutorial that I used is from Crafti Staci. The pattern is located on her site and has worked great for me. I didn’t have any ironing board fabric so I opted to purchase Insulbrite so that I had less items to cut out. One tip I have is make sure the Insulbrite or batting is on the TOP side when sewing. The first one I made had issues because the fabric kept getting caught.
Yesterday while browsing JoAnn’s I also found some UW Huskies fabric in the remnants. I was super excited to make some in that pattern as well. I think I need to find some different fabric to go with it. The green/brown chevron works but I’d like to find maybe some purple and black chevron instead.
Any pattern requests? I’m having fun making these so I’m sure you will all see them show up again, especially around Christmas time.
