This Rustic Burlap Earring Display is brought to you by random wandering around the craft store. Over the weekend I went to both Michael’s and Joann’s to see what sort of sales they had. One of the things that I found was a bunch of 12×12 sheets of burlap (similar). I thought that the burlap would be perfect to hold earrings because they have the nice little holes already.
While I was out I also headed to the thrift store to find an 8×10 frame with a small border that could be the support structure for the burlap. 8×10 is the biggest frame size that works because you need the a bit of the burlap to stretch over and attach.
To secure the burlap to the frame, I used my handy-dandy staple gun and stapled it to the frame. Make sure to stretch it tight. I used one of the Jolee’s Boutique Dimensional Flowers (similar) in the corner to give it a touch of pink and make it not quite so plain.
Once the burlap has been stretched and secured to the frame, simply hang earrings through the holes. This 8×10 frame can hold a ton of earrings and it works well because there is no set location that earrings must go, just find an opening and poke them through.
This is a fun way to display earrings and add a bit of color to my bedroom. How do you display your earrings?
