One can never have too many coffee mugs; especially when they are fun Star Wars themed coffee mugs. This past weekend I pulled out my Silhouette Cameo and made myself another coffee mug (that I’m thinking will show up at work, and I might have a few jealous coworkers).
Star Wars Coffee Mug
I had downloaded the SVG file of this Star Wars Coffee mug a few months ago and had been waiting for a good weekend when I could sit down and try out the file. I don’t remember where I found it exactly; however, if you are looking at making this mug for yourself, the image can easily be found online and traced. Melissa over at Silhouette School Blog has a great tutorial on tracing like a pro.
I like to keep some blank white ceramic mugs on hand for whenever I decide to make myself (or a friend) a little gift. These mugs work well because they are straight which helps prevent bubbles in the vinyl.
I use permanent adhesive vinyl (like this) for all of my mugs because it stands up better to everyday wear and tear. It TECHNICALLY isn’t dishwasher safe; however, I’ve run my water bottles through the dishwasher multiple times without the decal coming off.
