I love shopping for Christmas gifts each year and finding the perfect item for each person. This week, I’ve been sharing a few gift ideas, from a baby to a new homeowner, and now some gift ideas for new moms.
New moms still have the same interests as last year, so I wanted to find items that would compliment these interests with the new aspects of parenthood.
Some of the items in this guide were provided for gift guide consideration; however, I am only including items that I truly think are great gifts.
Gifts for New Moms
ToteSavvy
Who says that only diaper bags can be diaper bags? Sometimes I’d rather take one of my purses out on our errands for the day and ToteSavvy I could do this. ToteSavvy is an insert that includes multiple pockets to organize any bag. There is also a ToteSavvy Mini for smaller purses. Even after the diaper bag stage, ToteSavvy is great as a laptop or purse organizer.
A New To Her Purse
Speaking of purses, maybe she would like to open a new-to-her purse under the tree. Fashionphile offers gently used designer purses at a discounted price. I’ve even gotten one that still had the tags attached when it arrived! Inventory is changing every day, and will go on additional discount after so many days on the market.
Spa Day
A spa day with a massage, facial, and/or scrub sounds absolutely relaxing. Whether it is a whole day, or just a singe service will be amazing as a time to decompress.
Jabra 85h Elite Headphones
I first learned about these headphones at CES earlier this year. They have absolutely amazing noise cancellation, and have a pass-through option so you can still hear the world around you with your music. I could definitely see myself using the pass-through mode when I’m walking to/from the bus and want to still be aware of what is going on around me.
ChipMonkey Wine
Any occasion can call for wine. Chipmonkey Wine helps you gift the perfect wine whatever the occasion. Each wine is selected by a sommelier, and paired with each occasion. You can opt to send either red, white, or sparkling and how many bottles. The card can also be personalized with a photo, and you can add accessories like wine charms.
In addition to normal occasions, Chipmonkey Wine also provides wine for the not so standard occasions such as “toddler troubles”, “it must suck to be technologically challenged”, and “sorry your coworkers are crazy”.
goSili Travel Mug
Without fail, Emmett will wake up just as I finish making my coffee in the morning. I then spend the next while playing with him while trying to sneak in sips of my coffee. The goSili Travel Mug is completely plastic-free, and has an embedded stainless steel ring the prevent the mug from collapsing when gripped; yet it can be microwaved!
DEEBOT OZMO 950
I shared a bit about my love of the DEEBOT earlier this year and I’m sure it would be a welcome Christmas gift to any busy mom. We run ours just about daily as it is always picking up pet hair. I especially love the app and virtual walls that I can build if I only want to clean part of the living room or kitchen.
A Nice Mascara & Lipstick
It is surprising how just a little bit of mascara and lipstick can make me feel put together. I may not have time in the morning to do a full face of makeup, but adding a touch of mascara and lip stain makes the world of difference. The YSL Lip Stain is seriously amazing, the color lasts all day, and doesn’t have the sticky feeling of lip gloss.
Cozy Hard-Soled Slippers
Even during the summer, my feet would get cold during 2am feedings, having a pair of comfortable slippers by the bed is the perfect solution. These UGG slippers are cozy, and offer a hard sole which makes them comfortable for a quick run out to the garbage can, or taking the dogs outside.
Slipsilk Hair Scrunchies
My hair is constantly in a ponytail, especially now that Emmett has started to pull at my hair. These scrunchies would be nicer on my hair than a standard pony tail holder, especially at night when I sleep in the ponytail.
If you’re shopping for a new mom this holiday season, I hope these ideas have inspired you with some gift ideas. What else would you add to the list?
