A few months ago I shared with you a DIY Fall Table Runner tutorial. This past weekend I took some time to update my table and make a Christmas one! I love my Christmas Table Rummer so I’m excited to share it with all of you too!
I purchased the fabrics from fabric.com; I’ve become obsessed with this site over the past year. I used a red broadcloth for the backing this time but I think if I make more to use as gifts I might do a different Christmas fabric as the broadcloth can be annoying to work with because it has no stretch. One person commented on the fall table runner post that the back could be a second table runner; for example it could be fall on one side and Christmas on the other. I think this is an awesome idea!

In addition to the table runner, I also put together a centerpiece with Glassybaby and my favorite display bowl. I bought the bowl from Crate & Barrel a few years ago and it has pretty much been on my table since. It is a great size to fill with different items throughout the year. If there aren’t display items inside then it is also the perfect size for a fruit bowl.
One reason I love how it turned out is because it doesn’t screen Christmas and could transition into January.
Have you sewn anything for Christmas? How do you decorate your table for the season?
Merry Christmas!
