I’ve shared a bit about getting our nursery ready and how I’ve been buying clothes at thrift stores for the past few months. Some of these clothes have been put in the dresser, but a few I wanted to hang up in the closet. I’ve also been buying some awesome onesies at Zulily – I love all the awesome finds that I discover.
I’ve seen some cute closet dividers all over Pinterest so I decided to make my own! This craft was very simple and I had a set of 6 made in less than an hour (and most of that time was for drying).
Do It Yourself Nursery Closet Dividers
Materials:
- Blank Rack Dividers
- Mod Podge
- Foam Brush
- Printed Design
For my design in Silhouette Studio, I created concentric circles. The outer circle is 3.25″ and the inner circle is 1.65″. Create compound path to make a doughnut shape. For the slit on the bottom, I added a rectangle that was 0.3″ wide and removed that from the doughnut.
I used the print and cut feature to do mine; however, you could also use the above dimensions to cut the shape out of fun scrapbook paper. Make sure to do two per size as these are double sided.
Once you have all of the pieces cut, use mod podge to apply the paper to the divider. I put some onto the plastic first, placed the paper, and then added a coat to to the top. Once that has dried, flip over and repeat on the other side.
The closet dividers look awesome in the closet and go well with our travel theme.
I’ve discovered that Zulily has awesome onesies. I swear that every time I log in I find like 5 more onesies that I want to buy. Of course I couldn’t resist this Big Bang Theory inspired onesie (I actually have a matching T-shirt).
What themed closet dividers would you make?

I made some dividers for my little girl about 8 years ago! Yours are way cuter though. They were a huge help when she was a baby and we had a million sizes in the closet at once!
