I’ve been wanting to complete this craft for a while, and finally got around to it this past weekend. I don’t know why I had put it off because it seriously took less than 10 minutes.
Personalized Hairbrush With Vinyl
I started this project with some ordinary hairbrushes and my favorite adhesive vinyl. The head of the brush is simply an oval shape so I measured the short and long widths and then created that shape in my Silhouette Studio software. This area was then my canvas to fill with a design.
I knew I wanted to do a couple different designs. The first I did was one for Aubree. For her personalized one, I went through all my fonts and found one that I loved to go with the pink and teal brush.
The next brush is a bit more generic, but still fun. I used two different fonts and some circles to create this Be*you*tiful design on the back.
These personalized hairbrushes are inexpensive and easy to make. They could be perfect for birthday party favors (especially if it is a sleep-over) or add it to a gift with some other beauty items.
I think these turned out adorable and will definitely be making more as we go to little girl’s birthday parties. What would you put on your personalized hairbrush?

That is such a good idea! Good way to help make sure people don’t get their brushes mixed up too. They look great!

I know this is an older post, but was Google searching this to see if I needed to seal mine. Do you seal yours, if not, how did they hold up?
