I am so excited that I am going to be a CK Mondavi Ambassador for this coming year. I can’t wait to share some delicious recipes and awesome wines with you this year! As I mentioned yesterday, I’m all about the easy party recipes and today’s recipe is definitely easy (and delicious).
Easy Brie Party Appetizer
- 1 Round of Brie Cheese
- 2 Tablespoons Honey
- 2 Pears - thinly sliced
- 2 Apples - thinly sliced
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Place brie cheese on a cookie sheet and bake for 5 minutes, or until it starts to get soft
- Thinly slice apples and pears
- Drizzle round of brie with honey
- Slice wedge of brie and serve on a slice of fruit. Top with additional honey if desired
CK Mondavi wines pair perfectly with this brie, fruit, and honey appetizer. I’ll be offering a few different varieties with this appetizer at my party. The flavors of apple, pear, and honey can easily go with both red or white varieties.
The Chardonnay includes apple and pear flavors; which makes it an ideal pairing if your guests are fans of crisp white wines. I’m also going to offer some Cabernet Sauvignon and Scarlet Five for my red wine loving friends. The full bodies in these wines, along with the berry notes will pair nicely with the brie and honey.
Now through January 31, 2017 make sure you check out the CK Mondavi special holiday promotions for $1 off PRÉSIDENT® Brie, $1 off RONDELÉ® BY PRÉSIDENT® and $1 off any crackers. Plus, if you want to enter to win a wine country weekend in Napa, simply text CKMONDAVI to 31279 through December 31st, 2016 to enter!
