One of the things I love about summer is that we can cook many of our dinners on the grill. We’ve had a few days this year where this has been possible and it is glorious. One evening while we had steaks cooking I decided to throw some pears on there. The pear halves cooked for about 5 minutes and the skin turned from green to brown; when the entire pear skin was brown I took them off and drizzled some fresh honey over them.
These pears were a delicious dessert and I can’t wait until pears are in season and we can make this often.

Love how simple this is. Sometimes less really is more… especially with yummy, seasonal ingredients. This is why I love cooking and baking in the spring and summer. :)
