If you follow along on my Instagram (and specifically Instagram stories), you probably saw that I was recently in my BFF’s wedding. A couple weeks ago we had a low key bachelorette party for her (just like she requested). With just a handful of close friends, we explored Seattle, in a fun and unique way.
An Afternoon in Seattle Bachelorette Party
We started the afternoon at Meg’s sister’s apartment for a few appetizers and waiting for everybody to arrive. The main activity for the afternoon was hanging out on some Electric Boats in Lake Union. In addition to the rental, Carrie also ordered a Fruit/Cheese and Veggie Tray. These snacks were absolutely delicious and perfect for a sunny day on the water. Each boat holds 10-12 people which was the perfect size for our intimate Bachelorette Party.
One of the great things about boating around Lake Union is that there are so many cool things to see. We watched an airplane take off, spied on some expensive house boats, and checked out a few of the Alaska Crab Fishing Boats.
After the boats, we headed back to Carrie’s apartment for a delicious dinner and some presents for Meg’s upcoming nuptials.
Meg absolutely loves flowers so we continued the floral theme with the invitations for the Bachelorette Party (check out our Garden Tea Party Bridal Shower as well). These invitations feature a gold foil appearance and I love the bright colors of the flowers.
Meg was gifted this Kate Spade Miss to Mrs tumbler during one of her showers this spring and has LOVED using it to get her daily water intake. It is such a fun cup to use during this time leading up to the wedding.
What sort of ways did you personalize a bachelorette party for the bride?
