A couple weeks ago was Renee’s baby shower. She is doing her nursery in a “Seahawks” theme – but doing it via colors (Navy Blue and Lime Green) so we continued that theme into the shower.
Grace and I had a great time with the blue and green theme. She was also announcing the baby’s name at the shower so I made a “Jaxson” banner in Publisher and cut it out.
Grace found this awesome “It’s A Boy” banner on etsy and had it customized in the shower colors.
We did a few of the standard baby shower games such as guessing the size of Renee’s belly and how many skittles are in the baby bottle. We also had a calendar to guess when the baby will actually come. It will be fun to see who is right come December.
Instead of a guest book, I cut some onsies out with my Silhouette and then had people write a little note and hang them on a frame.
See how I made a similar frame here.
Everybody loved the favors that we put together. We started with the small kraft window tin-tie bags from evermine and then personalized them. The 1.9″ square labels fit perfectly on these bags. There are tons of choices that can be personalized or there is also the option to upload your own design. I opted for uploading my own design since we had something very specific in mind.
Renee loves popcorn so we wanted to give kettle corn as our favor. The bags from evermine were amazing for this because they have a waxy finish on the inside which means that the grease from the popcorn didn’t bleed through the paper.
Evermine features tons of other items such as personalized coasters, holiday cards, wine labels, and much more. Check out their website to see all the awesome products! Since they are awesome, evermine is offering a $50 gift card to one of my lucky readers! Enter via the rafflecoptor below and good luck!
