For the past couple years, I’ve seen so many different Moscow Mules around the cocktail world. I decided that I finally wanted to try making it for myself and it might become a staple for BBQs this summer.

A few years ago, Brad and I discovered 4 Orange vodka when we were on vacation in Orlando. Since that trip we look for it whenever we are in Florida. I’ve struck out the past couple trips and were down to the last little bit in our bottle. I decided to use this last bit in the Moscow Mule and was glad that it was used in a worthy cocktail.
When Brad and I went to pick out Ginger Beer for this recipe I discovered that there were SOO many options so we had to pick up a few different ones. I’m thinking that we’ll have to experiment with these other ginger beers throughout the summer to come up with our perfect Moscow Mule recipe.
Have you tried a variation of a Moscow Mule? What flavor was your favorite?

I have yet to have any moscow mules, my brother and SIL are obsessed with them! This is the second recipe I’ve clicked on today that uses Ginger Beer…one I’ve never heard of it, and this is the second…in a row I might add, that uses it…strange, must mean I have to try out both recipes! One of our best local restaurants featured a “Dutch Orange Mule” with Ketel One Orange and ginger beer, garnished with a fresh orange slice.. This was a mid-winter drink over ice in a copper mug. Excellent!
