Home decor is always more fun with a bit of glitter. This is especially true during the fall when the gloomy days could use a bit of a pick me up.
DIY Glittered Leaves
This project only takes two items; fake leaves, and glitter spray paint. I headed to the dollar store for my leaves and then simply sprayed them with the spray paint. I find that glitter spray paint is a bit less messy than using glue and loose glitter.
The spray paint dries pretty quickly and then they can be set out for decorating mantles or tables. They could also be made into a fun garland by punching a hole in the bottom and adding some string.
I put mine up on the mantle along with some of my favorite decor items – glassybabys.
What would you do with these glitter leaves? Can you think of where they would go in your home?

Ooh, glitter spray paint, just think of all the possibilities! I love these cute little leaves, they add just the right touch of glam. They’d look great in a neutral color scheme! Pinning…

Love the glittery leaves. I recently painted some using fall colors, glitter didn’t even cross my mind. I didn’t know that they sold glitter spray paint. I will have to get some. Thanks for sharing!

Will definitely have to check out glitter spray paint. That’s one I don’t have in my spray paint “collection”! Super pretty.
