Welcome to fall and all sort of delicious comfort foods. One thing I love about fall is the ability to wear leggings with a dress or tunic pretty much every day. They are soft, cozy, and can make some pretty adorable outfits. Plus, stretchy pants are always good for those days when the comfort food are so hard to resist. I had created a couple different Pumpkin Spice themed tea towels for our oven; and decided to add a couple more into the mix for fall. These are such a fun project, and would be great for a housewarming present as well.

I couldn’t 100% decide on a final design for this towel; so I made two, and are offering both of them as a free SVG for you to use for your own personal use.

I used  White Flour Sack Towels just like my other fall themed Towels (Pumpkin Spice For Life, and Pumpkin Spice & Everything Nice). I like the size of these towels, and they are great for simply hanging off the front of the oven. The design is made with Black Heat Transfer Vinyl that I cut with my Silhouette Cameo. Since my Heat Press and I are now finally BFFs, I used it to apply the HTV onto the towel. You can use an iron; however, I am discovering that the design is a lot more durable when applied with a heat press.

I did still utilize my iron a bit for this project. Since the flour sack towels have so many natural creases, I wanted to smooth them out a bit before pressing the actual decal (which makes it a lot easier to verify that the design is actually straight on the towel). I really like using an ironing mat because I can iron on my desk and don’t have to store a separate ironing board. Plus, since the only time that I use my iron is for craft projects, its fine that it lives in there.
