I love creative craft storage. As I have been reorganizing all my craft supplies I came across a bunch of bakers twine rolls. They were too pretty not to be displayed but wasn’t sure how to do so and still have them organized. Since I live just a few minutes from Ikea I headed down there one evening to see what they had. I came across the Bekvam spice rack. It was plain and kinda ugly in it’s natural color; however, a bit of spray paint could remedy that! I can’t find them listed on the Ikea website anymore so I’m hoping that they aren’t discontinued but rather coming out under a new name (similar to the Expedit is now Kallax).
I wasn’t quite sure what color I wanted them, but decided on Chalkboard in case I ever want to get super creative and draw on them. I also had a can of it in the garage so it didn’t require another purchase. Once they were painted, I simply put them together and hung them on the wall in my sewing room!
Once I got them up in my craft/sewing room, I discovered that the pint size mason jars that I tinted a couple months ago also fit perfectly on the spice racks. I added them to the shelves so that they weren’t taking up space on my sewing table.
How do you organize your craft supplies? Do you like to display the pretty ones?

I love the idea of storing them in spice racks! Craft supplies are often so colourful and it seems a shame not to show them off
