Are you headed to the beach for spring break or summer vacation? One essential item at the beach is a pail and shovel. I decided to personalize a bucket for my favorite 3 year old and have some more fun with printable vinyl. (For other projects with printable vinyl see this Angry Birds Basket).
Lilly Pulitzer Inspired Beach Pail
I used an anchor design with a circle removed so that I could insert the monogram inside. Using a Lilly Pulitzer inspired print, I filled the anchor shape with the image and then printed it onto the printable vinyl.
Since I’m still getting the hang of print and cut, I added an offset so that even if the paper get misaligned it would still look good when cut.
I created a second offset that I then cut with transparent vinyl so that the image would remain waterproof (which is a bit important for using it at the beach).
I brought the bucket over to Aubree’s house a couple days ago and she immediately started asking when they were heading to Hawaii so that she could have some sand for the beach pail. She also walked around pretending to shovel sand into her pail. So I’m pretty sure the bucket was a hit!
This bucket turned out adorable and I’m excited to try out more of this printable vinyl in the future! What would you put on a beach pail?
