Who is ready for the Olympics!?! Four years ago, I spent HOURS watching the Olympics (I never knew that white water kayaking was an Olympic sport and that they could build a fake course for it!). I was home a lot more than usual that summer since I spent over 2 months unable to walk while I recovered from a torn Achilles. I constantly had the Olympics on TV as I worked from home that summer so that I could have some background noise (and because who doesn’t love cheering on the USA to Gold!).
Cheering on your favorite athlete can be hard work, so why not treat yourself to a USA inspired cocktail as well. The Smirnoff Red, White, & Berry vodka is the perfect spirit as the base for this delicious sparkling cocktail.
Red, White, & Berry Sparkling Cocktail
- 1.5 oz Smirnoff Red, White, & Berry Vodka
- 3 oz Sparkling Blackberry Juice
- Frozen Blueberries & Strawberries
- In a glass, mix together the Smirnoff Red, White, & Berry vodka with the Sparkling Blackberry Juice
- Top with frozen blueberries & strawberries
The flavors in the Smirnoff Red, White, & Blue vodka makes it so easy for cocktail mixing. I always say that everything is better with bubbles so I added some sparkling blackberry juice (this would also taste delicious with a little bit of berry-anything juice and some tonic water). Instead of using ice, I used frozen strawberries and blueberries. It still helps keep the cocktail cold; but also provides a fun (and delicious) garnish!
I’m thinking that Brad and I might need to host an Olympics watching party this summer to cheer on the USA to gold whilst enjoying a delicious Red, White, & Berry Sparkling cocktail with friends.
Smirnoff Red, White, & Berry vodka features flavors of cherry, citrus, and blue raspberry (can you say yum?).
Which sports do you always make sure to watch during the Olympics? Make sure to enjoy watching along with this delicious cocktail!

MMM, this cocktail looks de-lish.
But, I will be cheering for Canada. ;) If Canada can’t take home the gold though, I always hope for our brother USA to get it.
I will have to try this, if that vodka is available here!
I usually watch the winter Olympics, and my favourite sports are Hockey and Snowboarding. But I am very interested in the kayaking sport. I’ll have to check it out.
