I love holiday traditions. From picking out our Christmas tree to getting our pictures taken with Santa, there are definitely a few things that I must do every year before it really feels like Christmas.
One of my favorite holiday traditions is putting together fun gifts for friends and family. Today I’m sharing a great and easy gift for your kids’ teachers.
The idea for this gift all started when I was out at Safeway doing some grocery shopping. They had the Starbucks Christmas blend so I used this as the basis for my gift pack.
Growing up, the week before Christmas vacation was always a fun week to see what sort of goodies my mom would come home with from her students. Between the “#1 Teacher” mugs and Noah’s Ark items (students found out that my mom collected Noah’s Ark decor for a while) there were always some gifts that I wanted to use as well. Often these were Starbucks gift certificates (this was back in the day when they came as individual $3 certificates) so I always think of Starbucks when it comes to good teacher gifts.
Since I was already at Safeway, I was able to pick up the other items needed for this fun gift.
Start by going to the cosmetics section. I picked up nail polish, lip balm, and hair ties. Next up was the office supply aisle for some fun pens.
Lastly, I went to the Starbucks inside Safeway to get a couple mugs and gift cards to round out the gift. How adorable are these little red cup gift cards?
There are a couple different ways that you could go with the cup depending on your budget for the gift; either pick up one of the fun ceramic mugs or the $2 reusable cup is also a great option. I absolutely love this “Best Day Ever” travel mug. It is so fun with the confetti (I might have also picked up the matching Christmas ornament for our Christmas tree).
Some ideas for items to put in this gift include:
- Candy – chocolate, candy canes, gum
- Nail Polish
- Lip Balm
- Hair Ties
- Eye or Face Mask
- Hand Lotion
Which Starbucks items would you make sure to include in a teacher gift pack?

I love these ideas!! It’s just hard where we live, since a lot of the teachers are mormon and when I give them coffee, I get the “look”. :/ Oh well, I’ll drink it!! Thank you for sharing with us at the #HomeMattersParty
