Have you heard about the new Captain Morgan flavored rums? Captain Morgan recently released three new white rum flavors – Pineapple, Grapefruit, and Coconut. I love these new tropical flavors and they are so easy to integrate into a cocktail.

Enjoying Captain Morgan Flavored Rums

One way that we have been enjoying both the Grapefruit and Pineapple Rum is to mix with a little bit of juice and pop. The flavors of the rum blend well, especially in a lemon lime soda or ginger ale. If you want to get a bit more complex flavor, add a splash of tropical juice (like Orange, Mango or Guava).

I think the Grapefruit Rum might be Brad’s new favorite alcohol. He has always been a fan of grapefruit so making it into a rum was perfect. His favorite mixer is simply lemon-lime soda (and a maraschino cherry for garnish).

The Pineapple Rum was my favorite. I loved combining it with orange juice, lemon-lime soda and a splash of pineapple juice.

We haven’t tried the Coconut Rum yet, but I already know that I’m going to try to make a Miami Vice with it. I know that it is Renee’s favorite drink so I’m thinking that it will be fun to try and make for one of our campfire evenings.

The new Captain Morgan Flavored White Rums were absolutely delicious and will definitely become a staple in our summer cocktail recipes.
