In a couple days, we will be celebrating the 4th of July with BBQ, friends and prayers that the stupid kids in our cul-de-sac don’t catch my house on fire. We will be having a couple little kids at our BBQ so I put together a small gift bag of items for them to play with.
These gift bags were put together for a super low price and will provide hours (ok, probably minutes) of entertainment throughout the summer.
4th of July Kids Activity Bag
What’s Inside:
- Star-Shaped Sidewalk Chalk
- Red & Blue Sidewalk Chalk with Holder
- Giant Bubble Wand
- Glow Stick
- Flag (it is a 4th of July BBQ after all)
- Personalized Cup
All of the items, other than the cup, were from the dollar section at Target. The glow stick was a 2 pack and the flags were 3 for $1. The cup was also from target and was only $3, it was over by all the summer stuff.
To create the cup, I pulled out my trusty-dusty Silhouette Cameo. For he vinyl, I recommend Oracal 651 for a permanent solution. The names are using the akaDylan plain font and the firework shape is from the Silhouette store. The firework ads a bit of 4th of July festivities; however, it could be used all summer long.
Hopefully the kids will enjoy their goodie bags on Friday and keep them out of trouble while we play ladder golf in the grass.
