Today’s recipe is brought to you by Foster Farms®. All opinions are my own. In our family, summer means grilling. It is the perfect way to cook dinner, especially when it is warm out and I don’t want to heat up the kitchen. One of our favorite things to grill is chicken. Foster Farms® is the West Coast’s leading poultry producer and recently introduced both Organic and Simply Raised (antibiotic free) lines to their portfolio. This new product line comes with new packaging, logo and an overall update to the brand. The Organic line is in Costco and select stores. The Simply Raised products are widely available in major supermarkets throughout the West Coast! For our dinner this past weekend I picked up some of the Simply Raised Thin-Sliced Breast Fillets. These are great for the grill because they are cut sliced evenly and cook quickly. Some great features about the Simply Raised chicken is that they are 100 percent vegetarian fed, raised without antibiotics, American Humane Certified produced without added sodium, and they are locally grown here on the West Coast!
Delicious and Easy Grilled Chicken
- 1 Package of Foster Farms Simply Raised Thin-Sliced Breast Fillets
- 2 Tablespoons of my Signature Dry Rub
- Use a paper towel to pat the chicken breasts dry]
- Rub the Signature Dry Rub into both sides of each chicken breast
- Place on the grill at Medium heat
- Cook approximately 15 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees. Flip Once
- Let rest for 10 minutes and enjoy! Serve with grilled bell peppers and potato salad.
The chicken was absolutely delicious and I expect it to become a staple for dinner this summer. It was juicy and the simple spices really bring out the flavors of the chicken. Potato salad and grilled peppers were a perfect side dish to accommodate the chicken. Do you like to grill during the summer? What is your favorite recipe to make on the grill?
