Pip and Princess get the majority of the pet spoiling; but sometimes it is fun to create something that is just for the cats. Pixel and Pico have been with us for 7 years and definitely add quite a bit of entertainment to our lives. Today’s post is a fun way to spoil your cats.
DIY Felted Catnip Ball Toys
First, wrap the yarn around a bell and create a ball slightly larger than a golf ball.
Next, put the balls into the leg of the pantyhose and tie knots on each side to create a pocket. Put them through the washer using hot water and also run them through the dryer. Cut the balls out of the pantyhose and they will be felted.
Once the balls are created, they need to be catniptized! Put the balls into a ziploc bag with about 1 Tablespoon of catnip.
I gave these balls to Pixel and Pico and they absolutely loved the balls. Before I could even get them onto the floor they were running to me in order to get to these balls.
Another way I spoiled Pixel and Pico is with Purina Muse. With Muse you don’t have to choose between natural nutrition and food that tastes great. Your cat can have both when you choose Muse. Natural has never been so delicious. Put Muse to the test with our clean plate guarantee.
Pixel was definitely intrigued by the Purina Muse and once they were opened Pixel and Pico both inhaled their plates of food. It definitely stood up to the clean plate guarantee. I’m glad that they enjoy a product that is such a great quality food.
I picked up some Purina Muse as well as some other supplies at Petsmart. It was along with all the other wet catfood. I picked up the ones in gravy but they are also available in pate, chowder and broth. All of the ingredients are made with real fish and poultry as well!
