I love using pore strips. There is something satisfying about seeing all the dirt and grime come out of my face and sit on the little strip instead. Unfortunately these strips get expensive and I’ve discovered that they do seem to expire after a while. When I saw the pin about “pore strips” using gelatin and milk I knew it was something I definitely wanted to try. Below are the results.
Directions:
Mix 1 T unflavored gelatin with 1 T milk. Heat for 15 seconds then spread on face. Let sit for 15 minutes then peel off. I just used my fingers to spread it on. A foundation brush probably would work well to spread it on.
I just put it on the bottom half of my face since that is where most of my clogged pores are.
At this point I feel like I’m A wearing an Ali mask.

First thoughts: This thing smells disgusting. If I do this again I’m adding a drop or two of lavender.
Second thoughts: Stay away from hair because it hurts to pull it off. Eyebrows are included in this disclaimer.
Final verdict: I’m going to say this is Busted. I could feel my skin stretching as this mask was pulled off but it didn’t seem as though my pores were any less plugged. My nose and chin are the places I have the most clogged pores and they still seem a bit clogged after the mask came off.
I will be sticking to my Biore Pore Strips from now on. They definitely work the best.

Thanks so much for testing this for us. My daughter uses the strips and we had seen the same pin. Good to know it is a bust! You are like our very myth ushers but instead pinned busted…lol!!
