I absolutely love my Silhouette Cameo. I have a list a mile long of project ideas and with that comes lots and lots of materials. Recently, I’ve been combining all of my craft projects into one spot which means that they need to get more organized.
Organizing My Silhouette Cameo Vinyl
In the past couple years, I bought a few variety packs so I have many different colors and sheets of vinyl. It was time to find a good organization solution for all this vinyl.
I forget where I originally saw it recommended, but I purchased a Shoes Away hanging organizer to store my vinyl on the back of the door and it is perfect for this problem.
For some colors, I have started buying them in 5-10 yard rolls (instead of 2 feet) so I do have to keep those in a different location. If you are cutting with these larger rolls, I highly recommend the Roll Feeder, it is amazing!
Since I use both adhesive vinyl and heat transfer vinyl, I decided to simply divide the carrier down the middle to separate the two mediums.
Yes, I put my adhesive vinyl in rainbow order. The engineer in me couldn’t resist. At the bottom, I have a few random items that don’t quite fit in with the other items. Near the door handle I put scraps.
There are lots of other items besides vinyl that can be cut with the Silhouette Cameo; however, I have a lot less of those materials so they simply fit in a drawer.
