I love spending time in the backyard during the summer. Underneath our deck, we have a nice large concrete patio that could use a little sprucing up. It already holds our hot tub, but that is about it and has so much potential.

The first thing that the patio needs is a nice large fire pit. It is the perfect focal point for the backyard and summer BBQs. Of course all those parties will require s’mores sticks and kindling so nice outdoor storage is needed. In order to properly relax I need a hammock. I had one out there until last summer when the one that I bought on our honeymoon broke. This chair looks perfect for curling up with a good book and a delicious fruity drink.

The evenings spent outdoors require a bit of mood lighting so I picked out some gorgeous Edison bulb string lights. They will be perfect to give a bit of light directly under the deck so that we could see what we are doing when the campfire isn’t quite enough.
