This time of year, pumpkin spice is everywhere you look. Now your coffee can have some pumpkin spice flavor (and a nice little kick) as well! Captain Morgan came out with Jack-O-Blast rum which adds some pumpkin flavor to Captain Morgan spiced rum. This rum is great to add to a mocha and turn it into a perfect nightcap.
Spiked Pumpkin Spice Mocha
- ½ ounce Chocolate Sauce
- 2 ounces Espresso
- 2 ounces Captain Morgan Jack-O-Blast Rum
- 8 ounces steamed milk
- Whipped Cream
- In a coffee mug, mix together chocolate sauce, espresso shots, and Captain Morgan Jack-O-Blast rum.
- Stir in the steamed milk
- Top with whipped cream
The pumpkin flavor of this rum blends well with the chocolate and then has a bit of a kick in the aftertaste. It is so delicious and a perfect drink for fall. I can imagine curling up next to a roaring fire with a good book and a mug of this spiked pumpkin spice mocha on a stormy Saturday evening (or here in Seattle, any Saturday evening during the fall).
