Today’s post is in collaboration with All opinions are my own.

Whenever I host family holidays I always ask my Aunt Evelyn to make her chocolate pie. It is absolutely delicious and features a meringue crust with a whipped filling. When planning my bridal shower, my best friend Meg asked everybody to come with a recipe to start my recipe box. Aunt Evelyn brought along this recipe and I made it for the first time this past weekend.

Some bloggers and I teamed up with for a battle of the pies. Each of us are posting a pie recipe over the next few days and whoever gets the most social interaction wins! So if this pie looks delicious to you, please share with all your friends!

Chocolate Mousse Pie

Chocolate Mousse Pie Recipe After making this pie for the first time, I’m realizing that making it is an act of love :) It takes 3 hours to make and that doesn’t even count the hours that it has to cool in the fridge.

Delicious Chocolate Mousse Pie Recipe The chocolate mousse is rich and creamy while the meringue gives a nice crunch to this amazing dessert.

Chocolate Mousse Pie I ended up making two of these pies, I brought one to work and the other went over to Kevin & Renee. I definitely owed Kevin after he had signed for a few of my FedEx packages so that I didn’t need to go pick them up from the office.  I needed to make sure that I got these pies out of the house because otherwise I would have eaten both of them in just a few days – it really is that amazing.

Who would you make this pie for?

This looks so amazing. Definitely pinning for later – for my husband to make me, the only things he cooks are meringues and chocolate mousse!
