A couple weeks ago, I had the opportunity to try out the 2016 Hyundai Sonata. This was a great car for my long commute to work and I was definitely impressed with the features that it contained.
I definitely enjoyed rocking out to my Christmas Satellite radio during my drive to and from work. It helped the miles fly by. This was the hybrid version which meant that (1) I got to park in the super close parting at work and (2) I was able to go over a week on a single tank of gas!
There was even a little hidden compartment for the USB/AUX and 12V DC power plugs. This is a great way to charge and listen to your devices. You could easily plug in your phone and close the little door so that it says nicely in the compartment while you are driving.
The seats of the Hyundai Sonata were super comfortable and the heated (and vented for warmer weather) leather seats were definitely a plus. I definitely enjoyed the heated seats a few times during my commute to and from work. The steering wheel featured all my favorite accessories – radio control and the phone!
One thing that I was pleasantly surprised about was how much space there was in the back seats. A full size adult could definitely fit comfortably in the back seats (even if the person in the front seats was taller than me and had the seat further back). These back seats also had their own air vents and power connections.
The trunk space was HUGE in the Hyundai Sonata. This could definitely fit lots of shopping bags, Costco purchases, or even our stroller. Plus, if you needed even more space, you could fold down the back seats and utilize all the extra back seat space as well.
I was definitely impressed with the 2016 Hyundai Sonata. This would be a great car for commuters and people who want a bit larger space in their vehicle.
